Best drink: "The
one they like," he says with a smirk.
Favorite drink: Absolut
Citron and soda. A light and fruity drink perfect for nights you
want a drink with a punch, but without all the soppy sweetness
which can ruin a drink — and the following morning.
Mike's signature drink:
"Geeiwannalaya." It's coconut rum, pineapple schnapps,
orange juice, grenadine, sour mix and 7-Up. Served in a tall highball
or Collins glass full of ice. "It's light and fruity."
Verdict: Sweet and refreshing, but not a cocktail you should order
late in the evening through. All that sugar and alcohol can lead
to one heck of a hangover if you don't chase each with a glass
of water.
Mike's sage advice: "Be
true to yourself and it will all work out."

Best experience: One
afternoon, Mike looked up and saw a customer sitting at the bar
he recognized as someone who was supposed to be somewhere else —
namely, a mental hospital. Police were notified and they came in
and surrounded . . . the wrong guy. Correcting their mistake the
police promptly handcuffed the right guy in the next seat. As they
lifted him from his bar stool, the escapee smoothly and calmly bent
over — arms cuffed securely behind his back — picked
up his drink with his teeth and proceeded to finish his tipple.
