Well, I spent all day working on this, and I have the sunburn to prove it.
This has been difficult to do to say the least! There is not one single thing in this car that is flat! Everything has a curve to it! To make it worse the curve and shape/size of the top of the box is totally different then the bottom of the box that rests in the floorboard. The door is being held in place with cabinet door magnets, that seem like the are going to be well strong enough to hold it closed. Just in case, I purchased some Velcro that I can use. The back of the box, around the edge of the top shelp is velcro'd to the side panel on the car to hold the box in place.
The box itself is sitting on a piece of foam to help with shock absorbing. The computer will also sit on another peice of foam when it is put into the cabinet. It is starting to come together, but I am still not done. The sun was starting to set, so I decided to call it a day. I will re-rout the wiring and such in the morning, before it gets too hot, and put everything in the cabinet. I still have to install the 2 fans on the back to exhaust the heat.
